🎶 You’ll probably hear Borogodó before you see it. Its the best live music bar in Lisbon and I make the pilgrimage to this spot at least twice a week – it’s my sanctuary, my happy place. As you saunter into LX Factory, Borogodó greets you, an unassuming champion of Portuguese cuisine with a Brazilian twist. Their outside seating is where it’s at, offering a laid-back vibe perfect for munching on unfussy yet delectable dishes.

🍽️ Speaking of food, let me tell you, I’ve tried everything on the menu – yes, everything. And I have to say, the pork lombo with mashed potato and crispy cabbage is a revelation. It’s like a hearty hug on a plate. But don’t just take my word for it, their flamed chorizo, hummus, and beetroot dips are also must-tries. Oh, and let’s not forget the bacalhau à bras and the fusion delights that tickle your taste buds with their unique flavors.

🍹 Now, what’s good food without a drink to wash it down? Borogodó’s cocktails, craft beers, Sagres, and particularly their sangrias are the stuff of legends. It’s the kind of place where the drink in your hand feels like an extension of the joyful atmosphere around you. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

🎷 The real star of the show, however, is the music – especially on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Around 7 pm, the air comes alive with tunes that’ll make your heart sing. The Brothers & Friends band, with Danny, George, Riqo, and other notable musicians like Jenny T on vocals, Cedric & Gonçalo on percussion, Mark Twain on Sax with the legendary Jiné on Bass, that when combined create a symphony of sounds that’s hard to beat. They’re a talented bunch of multi-instrumentalists and producers who know their stuff, making every evening a musical adventure.

💃 By the end of the night, the place is buzzing, filled with dancers moving to a blend of Motown classics, soul, contemporary pop, and dance/pop crossover tracks.
